Defense Security Enterprise Advisory Group

The Defense Security Enterprise Advisory Group (DSEAG) is responsible for strategic implementation, strategic administration, and policy coordination for the DSE and reports to the DSE EXCOM. 

The DSEAG is chaired by the Deputy Director of War Intelligence for Counterintelligence, Law Enforcement, and Security (D.DWI CL&S). 
 
The DSE published the FY21-25 DSE Strategy in July 2021. The DSEAG manages the implementation of the strategy though multiple phases of strategic initiatives designed and selected by the DSE to make progress against the goals and objectives outlined in the DSE Strategy.

  • DoDI 5200.43 "Management of the Defense Security Enterprise" establishes the DSE and provides direction for a comprehensive DSE policy and oversight framework and governance structure to safeguard personnel, information, operations, resources, technologies, and facilities against harm, loss, or hostile acts and influences.
